On May 5, 2008, we launched Mission Bean Coffee, a new venture selling freshly roasted, premium coffee to benefit People's City Mission and its many programs and services. The profits from the sale of each bag of coffee will cover the cost of one meal. But more than that, selling coffee provides job training and employment for some of our guests. They are proud and excited to  be part of this new and innovative approach in the fight against poverty.
 
Every package of Mission Bean Coffee is locally roasted and packaged right here in Lincoln. And it is fresh — in most cases roasted within the last week. We use only premium beans, so when you drink Mission Bean Coffee, you will be enjoying the rich flavor of some of the world's finest coffees.
 

We are proud to offer this fine coffee and invite you to join us in changing a life with every cup that you drink. We call it "a great cup of coffee for the greater good!" Thank you for helping us provide for the homeless and impoverished in Lincoln!
