Did you know that 80 to 100 women and children are staying with us tonight due in part to abusive partners? Almost a third of our women's and family shelter guests are victims of domestic violence.Everyday we let them know there are many people who care deeply about their situation and we assure them this crisis is not their fault; that God loves them and will care for them as they move forward.
Can you help us in these efforts? Any size gift would be greatly appreciated as we continue to care for abused women and their children in our city.
• For a donation of $11.65 you can provide a meal for a whole family.
• $12.95 will purchase one personal care package (toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, etc.).
• $21.45 will pay for a night's shelter at the Mission, while a gift of $107.25 would pay for a night's shelter for a whole family.
• The average cost of medical care for one person visiting the clinic is between $50 and $200.
