Fright Hunger Halloween Food Drive 2011 RECAP!

The event was a huge success! With your help we raised over 34,000 lbs of food for the homeless and less fortunate of Lincoln!

The Drive Champions are the Waverly Vikings, for the second year in a row, with 13,246 lbs of food collected. They will be receiving passes to Champion's Fun Center, a pizza party from Davinci's, a free movie from Marcus Theaters and will be featured in a commercial airing on Time Warner Cable.

The runners-up, with 10,363 lbs of food collected, is Park Middle School's Biz8 team! Each member will receive a $10 gift certificate.

People’s City Mission would like to thank all the students that helped collect food this year, Matt McKay and his team at KFRX, Time Warner Cable, North Walmart, daVinci’s, Champion’s Fun Center, Marcus Theatres, Lancaster Event Center, Goodcent’s Subs and Pastas, Little Caesar’s, Pepsi and Pershing Auditorium for their contributions to this event.
